Horror: The Perfect Christian Genre

Why shouldn't a Christian artist embrace the horror genre? Horror has long been an element required for the Christian story. Not only should it be embraced, Christians need to reclaim the horror genre for those that might try to muddle basic archetypes of good and evil, making good things evil and evil things good. 

Scott Derrickson, co-writer and director of the film The Exorcism of Emily Rose, says horror movies are an excellent way for a Christian filmmaker to address things of faith.
